Getting Started

Welcome to our new journey in techie stuff! We've been asked by many if we have a "blog" and the answer has always been "no". Well, that is until NOW! We will soon be posting who we are, how we got started and that can be checked out on our profile home page.

Let me start by identifying some of the pictures on the home page of this blog. In the upper left corner is Luna (one of our first alpaca) and myself. Following the tornados, Luna went to live with a wonderful friend of mine in New York state. Her fiber is exquisite to work with and her cria (baby alpaca) are award winning!

Below the picture of Luna and I, you will see a picture of another dear alpaca of ours, Naomi. She holds a very special place in our hearts and always will. She was recently labeled "The Best Huacaya Alpaca Female Ever" by the lead vet of the United States. In a later post we can address how he made this determination - you guessed it - her FLEECE! ;o)  On the right side there is a picture of some art yarn I spun and some raw (nothing done to it) alpaca fiber! Where it all begins!
